I know, call me crazy, but this too took me a total of 24 hours to paint. It is a wall in my sitting room that was just calling out to me for attention. There are a total of 24 historical quotes - some from the American Revolution, Civil War, and some from historical speeches. I first printed each quote on my computer in a banner format. I then taped them together (to get the size right) - used white chalk on the back to get the quote onto the wall - and then used white paint to painstakingly paint each and every letter by hand. The top picture is a close up of the quotes, and of course, of the bottom picture is of the entire wall.
I am very pleased with the way this project turned out!

Wow! You are one patient lady. Love the wall, but don't think I would be so patient to paint that much.
This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. You did a great job and what an inspiration. I'll keep this in mind for that one day when I own my own house.
